Yes In UK scientists have done a new wonder by making a Robot eat and poo not only this that eating will provide ECOBOT-III (as they say it) with energy to do work.!!!

ECOBOT-III which will be making its first official public appearance at the Artificial Life conference in Denmark, on August 19 2010.
Created by the Bristol Robotics Laboratory of UK, Ecobot III, needs to have breakfost of one bowl of soup daily, and yea give somd cold water to clear his throat too.
Now some technical thing.
Ecobot III have 2 stomachs having bacteria which process and degenerate the soup to convert hydrogen in it into various forms of useable fuel. basically hydrogen only and yep hydrogen ions created in process is mixed with OXYGEN to create water so it doesnt pollute enviornment.. SO IT NEED TO BREATHE ALSO!! you can say.


"It's not exactly knocking out rabbit pellets. Diarrhoea-bot would be more appropriate," News.com.au quoted Bristol Robotics Lab director Chris Melhuish as saying.
Bristol also said that BreadBot can process a much greater range of food, including waste water, which could shore up a future for it in dredging and filtering our sewers.
